A Bowl From the 1930's

I have a favorite fork, a favorite drinking glass and ....a favorite cooking bowl.   Its the perfect size for everything!  Sunday while I prepared meals I  used the bowl over and over and over. I made Keto pancakes for breakfast and Zupas califlower soup for lunch.  For the soup I washed the bowl out three times to use for the next step.  I think my MIL Joan is looking down and smiling. She wanted me to have this bowl -it was her mother's bowl.  She once told me that it was her mothers favorite bowl and she cherished it.  I can see why.  This is a bowl that has a long life with me and I will make sure someone special gets the bowl after me.

As you can see from this eBay posting the bowl is from the 1930's and doesn't really have monetary value.  I can say I will hand wash this baby and get her to the next generation.

Heart Project

I spent over an hour cutting out hearts yesterday.

Since this is the side of the house that faces society I chose to display my hearts on the door and in the windows. You can't even see the hearts in the windows!
But the heart door is screaming "look at me!"

Page of Hearts

On my way to the grocery store, I've been seeing homes with paper hearts in the window.  This is a way for everyone to show that we're thinking about each other during this time of the flu pandemic.

So I just created a template, and I'm stocked with my rainbow colors.
I'll post a picture when it's complete.
