Summer, roses and sunset

Finally made it to the Lake Harriet Rose Garden this summer!!
I got a few shots I like because they're so unique.  Had fun playing with that setting sun.

The trim on the house

Painting really sucks but well worth the effort.  Spent the last two days painting the trim on the house.  Scrapping and scrapping....it'sbeen 10 years..I guess I should be happy  for the that!

Trying Hard to get it right!

All summer I've wanted to try to recreate this Coca Cola ad that I used for my header on this blog....
I probably will never try again so this will have to do.  Lily and I had fun trying though!

Disappointed

While in Hayward I spotted the perfect little Antique Shop, but resisted visiting it til the third day of our trip.
I was really looking forward to it..I knew it would be a good one with a stagecoach like this out front!
I was so disappointed.  Nothing.  Maybe a fifites table is all I saw that I found remotedly interesting.
