Lily gets smudged by the St.Paul Carnival Vulcan Crew
When I was 7 it was the worst feared event that could possibly happen at a parade. The Vulcans would peruse the parade in their fire engine and look for pretty girls and women to steal a kiss from. Then they'd make sure everyone knew you were caught by leaving their mark...stinky grease all over you cheek or forehead. Today the Vulcan crew carries around a grease crayon and asks if they can smudge you.
