There may be a good reason to buy a new zoom lens. Yes, this was a bear. He/she saw us paddling and decided to take the swim after we passed.
Needless to say, we canoed several miles down the river before picking our campsite.

The Big Dipper

Night photography was so much fun on our canoe trip this Labor day weekend. We canoed the Namokogon River 30 miles!

The State Fair

Lily really enjoyed the Merry-go-round at the State Fair.
Another baby on the ride screamed all the way til the end. I had fun trying to get that perfect shot. Didn't quite get it, but this is a nice shot of mother and daughter.
