Little Falls Minnesota- Morrison County Airport

Three planes at the airport...ours being the prettiest.

 The Morrison County airport has a nice FBO and a courtesy car.

We visited the  Minnesota Historical Society's museum of Charles Lindbergh's boyhood home.

There was costumed actors playing the role's of Lindbergh's mother and neighbors during the start up of World War I

 My favorite room of the house was Lindbergh's porch bedroom.  It overlooked the Mississippi river and the weather was perfect Saturday peering out the screened windows.

Our flight was perfect.  The scenery...great.  

On our way home we flew right over St. Paul

Saturday on Madeline Island

 Sunday we spent the day flying to and visiting Madeline Island.  We had beautiful weather and had wonderful flight, but somehow I felt robbed because we really needed a few more hours inhaling the clean island air and enjoying the sites in relaxing fashion.  Biking to LaPointe was a heated mess on our fabulous fold up bikes, but really how lucky I am to have such wonderful adventures at a moments notice.

It's with History

The line was long but moved swiftly. It was nice to see people young and old alike, both men and women entering their prized possessions creatively handmade. 

Creative Collections at the Minnesota State Fair

Tomorrow I bring my "creative collection" to the State Fair.  I'm excited to enter because I completed a personal goal this summer.
